To be eligible, you must own a set of valid Personalised Plates and possess a Queensland driver's license or QLD Customer Reference Number (CRN). If eligible, you can see the above checker to see if your combination is eligible for Trade In and if you are eligible, you will be provided instruction on your next specific steps. 
Once you have confirmed you are eligible and are ready to purchase your Qualifying, you can create your plate and then proceed through checkout. During the 'Payment options' step in checkout, make sure to select the option 'I'm interested in a rebate'. If you do not select this option, we cannot honour the rebate.

Once you have traded in your plates, you permanently relinquish your rights to that specific plate combination. Should the combination become available again in the future, you are welcome to repurchase it through the standard purchasing process.

If you discover that one of the plates issued to you is missing, please be advised that you will not qualify for the Trade in promotion. It is important to report the loss to the relevant authorities.

Once your Trade in is approved and processed, the rebate will be issued directly to the credit card used during your qualifying purchase. Please allow 12–14 business days for the rebate to appear back onto this card.
