QUEENSLAND PERSONALISED PLATES OFFER

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Instructions on how to claim and the offer form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this offer is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and of the Supercheap Auto Gift Card Terms of Use. Offer not valid in conjunction with any other offer.

  2. Offer commences 1 July 2010 and ends 11:59pm on 31 July 2010 ("Offer Period").

  3. Offer is only open to individuals who hold a valid Queensland driver licence or QLD Customer Reference Number (CRN), and businesses/companies with a QLD CRN, who:

    1. log onto PPQ.COM.AU;

    2. successfully create and purchase a new eligible personalised number plate using the online 'Create A Plate®' system (excluding LayBy purchases, Upgrades, Remakes, Business Plates and Monochrome Series plates); and

    3. make full payment online at PPQ.COM.AU for their eligible personalised plate order using credit card only (Visa, Mastercard, American Express);

    during the Offer Period ("Qualifying Purchase").

  4. Offer is only available for Qualifying Purchases made using Create A Plate® on the PPQ website during the Offer Period. Purchases made through Queensland Transport, car dealerships, the PPQ call centre, or through any other means are not eligible for the purposes of this Offer.

  5. LayBy purchases, plate Upgrades, plate Remakes, and Monochrome Series plates are not eligible for the purposes of this Offer. Business Plates (personalised plates featuring corporate logos/slogans/designs) are also not eligible and cannot be purchased online using Create A Plate®.

  6. Each claimant who makes a Qualifying Purchase during the Offer Period will receive a $50 Supercheap Auto Gift Card.

  7. The Promoter will dispatch the Supercheap Auto Gift Card by post to the same nominated delivery address in the claimant’s plate order in each case. Claimants should allow 7 business days for delivery. No responsibility is accepted for lost, stolen or damaged Gift Cards.

  8. Any and all ancillary and/or additional costs associated with redeeming the Supercheap Auto Gift Card are the sole responsibility of claimants. Any unused balance of the Supercheap Auto Gift Card will not be awarded as cash. Supercheap Auto stores are not obliged to accept the use of a Supercheap Auto Gift Card on a sale of under $20. Redemption of the Supercheap Auto Gift Card is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer, including those specified on the Gift Card and at ppq.com.au. Supercheap Auto Gift Cards may only be used once activated, and will expire 12 months from date of activation. PPQ will arrange for the activation of Gift Cards prior to dispatch to claimants, unless otherwise advised to the claimant. To check the actual expiry date of your Gift Card, call Supercheap Auto on 1800 285 410 and have your 19 digit card number and serial number handy when you call.

  9. Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  10. Details processed through the PPQ Create A Plate® online facility are final. Any changes made to the plate order after it has been electronically submitted will attract a manufacturing fee that corresponds to the original plate type ordered. The Promoter will not issue a refund if a customer changes their mind after a plate order has been received by the Promoter.

  11. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims and claimants (including a claimant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any claimant who submits a claim that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, or who tampers with the claim process. Errors and omissions, and variations, will only be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

  12. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the offer, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any online difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference to the online application; (c) any online purchase that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any tax liability incurred by a claimant; or (e) participation in the offer.

  13. If the offer is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the offer (or that part of the offer) with an offer to the equal value and/or specification.
